After the gold rush
2025 was the year of seizures, enforcement notices and the first illicit jab factory raid; 2026 is the year patients look for providers they can trust. This course builds the version of a weight-management service that survives an inspection, because that is now the commercial advantage.

- Clinical foundations in GLP-1/GIP pharmacology, the evidence base, contraindications, and eating-disorder and body-dysmorphia screening
- Running the service, from initiation and titration schedules through side-effect management, plateau strategy, safe discontinuation and monitoring cadence
- Marketing without a prosecution, meaning POM advertising law in practice, compliant service-page copy and the enforcement case files of 2025–26
- The aesthetics interface, where facial volume loss on GLP-1s meets consultation frameworks and treatment planning for the ‘Ozempic face’ patient
Frequently asked questions
Doctors, and nurse/pharmacist independent prescribers, within their competence. The GPhC tightened consultation standards (Feb 2025), requiring independent verification of weight and height for online models. Non-prescribers cannot run a GLP-1 service on ‘prescriber sign-off’ remote models; we teach the compliant structures only.
In England, providing treatment for obesity (a disorder) is a regulated activity in most private service models, so yes, CQC registration is generally required, unlike cosmetic-only injectables. The course walks through registration step by step; it is slower than Instagram sellers pretend and faster than you fear.
No. They are prescription-only medicines and advertising POMs to the public is unlawful; the MHRA/ASA/GPhC issued joint enforcement notices in 2025 and renewed them in June 2026, with over a thousand posts removed. We teach the compliant marketing lane: lead with the condition and the service, never the product.
