An Ofqual-regulated, postgraduate-level qualification in cosmetic injectables, typically OTHM’s Level 7 Diploma in Clinical Aesthetic Injectable Therapies or VTCT’s Level 7 Diploma in Clinical Aesthetic Injectable Treatments. It carries 60 credits (600 hours total qualification time) and combines assessed theory with a supervised clinical portfolio (40+ logged cases) and observed assessments. Open to registered healthcare professionals.
‘Level 7’ refers to the qualification framework level shared with master’s degrees, so it carries postgraduate academic demand while being delivered as a vocational diploma. The two dominant awards are OTHM’s and VTCT/ITEC’s Level 7 Diplomas in clinical aesthetic injectables, both Ofqual-regulated, externally verified and JCCP-recognised. What sets it apart from short courses is assessment: written assignments, a supervised case portfolio and directly observed procedures. We do not offer a Level 7 ourselves.
