Short answer

Evidence over certificates: supervised case volume, a clean complications story you can discuss intelligently, scope discipline, and increasingly a regulated qualification (Level 7 helps shortlisting for injector roles). Clinics also hire for consultation skill and retention, because a returning patient book is the business. In-house training happens, but mostly for existing clinical staff.

Job adverts say “experienced injector”, and the interview asks three real questions: how many supervised cases, what went wrong and how you handled it, and whether patients come back to you. A written competency record from training, documented case logs and a mentor who will vouch for you beat a wall of attendance certificates.

The Level 7 question is honest arithmetic: it is not legally required, but when fifty CVs arrive it is an easy filter, and employers know insurers like it. Our Level 7 guide covers when it is worth it, and after the certificate covers building the case log that actually gets you hired.
