We sell the Level 7 Diploma and we will still tell you plainly that nothing in current UK law requires it. What it does is de-risk everything else: insurance, prescriber relationships, patient trust and licensing-readiness. When course advisers claim it’s mandatory, they reveal their incentives. When the licence finally lands, qualification requirements will be defined in regulations, and holders of regulated Level 7 awards will almost certainly be the least inconvenienced people in the sector.
