What happens at a model session
You arrive for a private consultation with the supervising clinician and prescriber. That means a full medical history, a discussion of what you are hoping to achieve, and a facial assessment, exactly as you would receive at a private clinic. If, and only if, treatment is clinically right for you, a delegate carries it out step by step under direct supervision, usually with more checking, marking and explanation than any commercial appointment you have had.
Why the model fee is lower
You are contributing to supervised, real-world learning, and you are never a guinea pig. Delegates are registered healthcare professionals, and every plan is approved by the trainer, who steps in hands-on whenever it helps.
The trade-offs
Appointments take longer, so allow up to 90 minutes. Availability follows the course calendar, so dates are limited and popular slots go quickly. Occasionally the consultation finds you unsuitable on the day, for example after recent medication or with a skin infection, and no treatment goes ahead. You are never charged for a consultation that does not lead to treatment.
