Where dentists stand
Dentists are GDC-registered, which places you among the statutorily regulated professionals recognised in the JCCP’s framework. That matters twice over: it is the basis insurers underwrite against today, and it is the professional category England’s proposed licensing scheme is being designed around.
Prescribing, practically
Dentists prescribe for patients under their care, and the GDC has banned remote cosmetic prescribing since 2013. Remote prescribing for cosmetic procedures is banned by every UK regulator, so whatever your arrangement, it is built on in-person consultations.

The route
The Foundation Botox & Dermal Filler course is the entry point: online theory, then two supervised clinical days at a published 4:1 ratio with four to six models per delegate. From there, supervised cases, the Advanced course, and the Level 7 Diploma when you want the regulated credential.
