Where does Botox training near Leeds actually happen?

At our Manchester training centre. From Leeds, TransPennine direct from Leeds to Piccadilly, about 1 hour 10 door to door. Online theory is completed at home before the clinical days, so travel buys practical time only.

Can I be a model from Leeds instead of a delegate?

Yes. Model sessions run on every course day at the Manchester centre, at prices around half typical clinic rates. Apply through the model programme page and flexible availability gets matched fastest.

How many models will I treat on the foundation course?

Four to six across the two clinical days, at a published maximum ratio of one trainer to four delegates. If on-the-day suitability reduces your exposure, you return to a supervised clinic free.

Is there a course venue in Leeds itself?

Not currently. We concentrate clinical infrastructure in London and Manchester so every cohort gets the same published ratios and model clinics. Close enough that one-day masterclasses need no overnight.

Botox and dermal filler training in Leeds

Aurelia Institute trains in London and Manchester. There is no Leeds venue, no Yorkshire venue and no local trainer working under our name, and we would rather say that in the first line than bury it. From Leeds the practical consequence is small, because the Manchester venue is genuinely close.

The Manchester run

Manchester is a comfortable day trip from Leeds. Out in the morning, train, home the same evening, no hotel and no annual leave spent on travel. London is possible in a day but needs an early start and gives you a longer, more tiring day for no obvious benefit unless the date is the deciding factor. Check current timetables when you book rather than assuming, because the trans Pennine route sees frequent engineering work and route changes and a delayed arrival costs you the part of the day you came for. Where English licensing stands

No licensing scheme for non surgical cosmetic procedures is in force in England. What exists is a published intention. The Department of Health and Social Care set out its response on 7 August 2025, confirming a three tier red, amber and green model with botulinum toxin and dermal fillers in the amber tier. That is policy, and policy is not enforceable. Until regulations are made and commenced there is nothing to apply for and nothing to be approved against, so treat licence ready claims as marketing.

Separately, and already in force, the Botulinum Toxin and Cosmetic Fillers (Children) Act 2021 makes it an offence in England to administer toxin or filler for cosmetic purposes to anyone under 18. The four nation picture is tracked in the licensing tracker, which matters more than usual in Yorkshire because plenty of practitioners here also take clients or work sessions elsewhere.

Leeds is a competitive market with real money in it

Leeds is the professional and financial centre of its region, and the client base reflects that. There is a large weekday workforce of office staff who book appointments around the working day and expect to be seen on time, which rewards anyone who can offer early, late or lunchtime slots and punishes anyone running an hour behind. Treatment budgets are healthier here than in most of the surrounding towns, and clients are used to comparing providers on presentation as much as on price.

That also makes the city centre crowded. Established clinics have the marketing budget and the location, and a newly trained injector rarely wins that fight directly. The more realistic route in is either a room inside an existing business with a client list already attached, or building outward in the West Yorkshire towns around the city where competition is thinner and loyalty is stronger. Plenty of practitioners work both, one or two days central and the rest closer to home, and that is a sensible shape for a first year.

Who trains from around here

Leeds has a large hospital and university sector, so a good share of the people looking at injectable training locally already hold a clinical registration and are adding a skill rather than leaving a career. If that is you, the temptation is to assume your existing background covers more of this than it does. Clinical seniority transfers well to consent, complication recognition and escalation, and less well to facial aesthetic assessment, product handling and the commercial side of running your own list. Be honest about which of those you are actually buying training for, because it changes whether a first course is the right purchase or whether you should be looking further up.

Have the unglamorous answers ready first. Where will you treat, who is responsible for the premises and the waste, does your registration and prescribing position support the treatments you intend to offer, and what will indemnity cost. Before you plan a treatment list

Botulinum toxin is a prescription only medicine. It cannot lawfully be advertised to the public, and it requires a face to face prescriber assessment for every patient. Build your plans around that rather than around what you see other clinics posting on social media.
