The aesthetics earnings calculator.
Course adverts quote someone’s best day. This calculator runs your numbers instead, with the cost stack included and the slow first year built in. It compares the result against 2026/27 NHS pay so the decision is honest.
Contribution before tax, insurance and other fixed costs, and before the roughly 30 to 40% you should set aside for income tax and national insurance on top of employed income. Illustrative arithmetic, not a projection or financial advice.
Where the defaults come from
The default figures match the worked examples in our earnings and salary report: a £220 regional toxin appointment, £50 of product and consumables, a £30 prescriber fee and a £60 room day rate, at a deliberately modest three appointments per clinic day because that is what early diaries actually look like. NHS comparison figures are the published NHS Employers 2026/27 Agenda for Change scales. The cost side of starting up lives in the start-up ledger, and pricing treatments like a business explains each line in the stack.
