Reputable blended courses deliver anatomy, pharmacology and consent online, but competence with a needle requires supervised practice on live models, and no insurer will cover injectables trained by video alone. Treat any ‘100% online Botox certification’ as the red flag it is.
Online theory is genuinely good news, because it means your expensive in-person time is spent injecting rather than sitting through slides. Our foundation course front-loads roughly eight hours online precisely for that reason. But a certificate for injectables issued without observed practice on real anatomy is uninsurable and, more importantly, unsafe. The question to ask any provider: how many live models will I treat, under what supervision ratio, and is that in writing?
